Our Story
Are you fed up with quarantine? Are you fed up with social injustice? Is the only thing not “fed up” ….. your stomach? We are two brothers in elementary school in Los Angeles who, during this Pandemic, wanted to find a way to make a change and support our community. The mission of Fed Up Bakery is to give back to the local community while creating delicious treats for people to enjoy. We are donating all of our proceeds to the organizations No Kid Hungry, Children’s Chain of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Black Lives Matter. These organizations collectively help fight hunger, improve health and fight for greater social justice within Los Angeles. We also source many of our baking materials from local farms and businesses - specifically from the local Farmer’s Market on Larchmont Blvd and 3rd St Farmer’s Market. We will sell one sweet treat and one savory treat every week. We perfected our recipes during the stay-at-home order. If you are fed up and looking for a “sweet & savory” way to help the community, please support our cause!
AUGUST 2020 UPDATE:
Thank you so much to everyone who supported FedUp Bakery. We raised over $2,200 and gave equal amounts to each of the three charities. We look foward to seeing you again next season!
SUMMER 2021 UPDATE:
We are excited to be starting up FedUp Bakery this summer for ONE WEEK ONLY (July 23rd - July 30th)! We are going to be selling our most popular items from last summer - chocolate chip cookies and cheese crackers with pecans. This year due to the fact that the problem of climate change has been growing we want to donate to Climate Resolve. Climate Resolve is an organization that helps develop solutions to the problems caused by climate change in Los Angeles County. A few of the many things they help out with are urban cooling, wildfires, and electric transportation. They also support communities most affected by climate change. We hope you support our cause this summer!
